Third Annual FIA Cybersecurity Workshop, Operation Jolly Roger, a Success!

The third annual cybersecurity workshop, Operation Jolly Roger, hosted by the Futures Industry Association’s Market Technology division was held last week in Chicago.
The exercise presented a systemic cyber-attack scenario on a fictitious derivatives exchange, involving ransomware demands.
It was attended by over 40 representatives from a cross-section of the global derivatives industry, including futures commission merchants, hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, key service providers, exchanges and clearing houses. Lots of good feedback and discussion points from the participants!
